This was message sent out to clubs for a 15 September respons.

It felt strange to send out a request for 2021 when we have had so little racing this year due to COVID-19 but in mid July we sent out the request for the 2021 Type A (Open Events) to all clubs and 2020 organisers. All should have received a spreadsheet with "tabs":

Tab 1 – 2021 Event list based on the 2019 dates with some amendments based on changes I am aware of
Tab 2 – a calendar view so that you can see which weekends are currently free if you would like to move your event
Tab 3 – 2021 major events which you might wish to avoid

As 2020 was a leap year it has changed our traditional calendar, for example the Chippenham Hardriders was normally in March, to get it into March would mean moving everyone to the right. However, with Easter in early April this would mean moving the Bristol event to mid-April. So for the moment the Chippenham event is in February.

Based on past experience could I please ask for confirmation from you / your club by no later than 15 September. This gives me a few weeks to do any negotiation needed.

The easiest way to confirm is to rename the spreadsheet, amend as necessary, colour code as per Chippenham examples and complete the date / closing date fields by way of confirmation. Remember to check your entry fee amount.
